Oasis’ Noel Gallagher has spoken out for the first time since the band’s celebrated reunion, expressing his amazement at the fan’s reception and his joy of touring again with brother Liam after 16 years apart. Gallagher, a lifelong Manchester City supporter, called in to his favorite sports chat show, talkSPORT with Andy Goldstein and Darren Bent, on Tuesday (August 19) to discuss soccer and the reunion shows. Noel said that he’s on “top of the world” at the moment, following the conclusion of the UK and Ireland leg of Oasis’ Live 25 Tour in Dublin on Sunday (August 17). The guitarist added that he has been “completely blown away” by the support shown by the fans at each of the gigs. “Every night is the crowd’s first night, so every night’s got that same kind of energy. It’s been truly amazing,” Noel admits. He also went on to praise his brother, revealing that, “It’s great being back in a band with Liam. I forgot how funny he was,” while adding, “Liam’s smashing it. I’m proud of him.” The North American leg of Oasis’ Live ‘25 reunion tour kicks off on August 24 in Toronto. (Billboard)
