@mhsu666 Today’s Dump features the third album From @The Black Crowes, 1994’s “Amorica”. The follow up to the immensely popular “Southern Harmony And Musical Companion” found the band pushing the envelope of their classic sound after recording a full album called “Taller” which was shelved until last year’s Amorica box set reissue. At this point the band had great success and everything that came with the new fame like more pressure and more drugs. I think Amorica captures the band with the right mix of songwriting and lifestyle. “A Conspiracy”, “High Head Blues” and the 1-2 punch of “Ballad In Urgency”/“Wiser Time”. This copy is on what I like to call “China White” vinyl(I’m a sucker for colored vinyl) with the 1976 Hustler Magazibe cover that featured way too much pubic hair for Walmart and Kmart at the time. Both stores banned it and there was a less offensive black cover with just the flag bikini visible issued to the more prudish consumers. Still my favorite Crowes album and cover.
