Tommy Jay Dwyer grew up in Worcester’s Webster Square and graduated from Worcester State University. He has been working on building a working film community in Worcester. His last horror movie filmed entirely in the Worcester, “Solus”, has won several awards and was featured at the city’s Dead Of Winter Horror Film Festival. His latest project is a documentary called “Burning Down The House” and it’s focus is the poor condition of some firehouses in Massachusetts. Mike Hsu talks to him about why he chose this subject and how you can support it.
